The Dublin Centre for Academic Development (DCAD) invites academic staff from across the Dublin Region Higher Education Alliance to attend their inaugural symposium

ACADEMIC PROFESSIONAL VALUES - BEING AN ACADEMIC IN A 21ST CENTURY HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION.

Symposium Goals and Objectives

To articulate a set of guiding principles for excellence in teaching and academic development for the DCAD

To identify the most important teaching and learning issues for shared development across DCAD

To explore what categories of staff affiliation to the DCAD might be most appropriate in light of the goals of the DCAD.
