A Practical Workshop
Facilitated by Dr Jennifer Moon, Associate Professor, Centre for Excellence in Media Practice, Bournemouth Media School, Bournemouth University.
Format A practical workshop
Target Audience DRHEA Institutions in early stages of learning outcomes design and delivery (focus on module design): For Heads of School, Academic Staff and Educational Developers supporting, designing and/or delivering modules based on the learning outcomes curriculum.
12.30-1.30 Lunch for am and pm groups
1.30 - 4.15 Title Addressing some of the Challenges/Misconceptions of the Learning Outcomes Curricula at Programme level: Forum for Development of Recommendations

a) Coherence and sequence in the curriculum or
b) Incorporating desirable, but unintended (unplanned)
     learning outcomes into the curriculum or
c) Avoiding over assessment

Plenary feedback from all three groups.
Format Three separate groups to discuss and work on recommendations, based on some pre-reading and experience with the approach. Followed by a plenary session to share recommendations.
Target Audience DRHEA Institutions in later stages of learning outcomes design and delivery (focus on programme): For Programme Deans/Chairs, Heads of School, Module Coordinators, Educational Developers, Support staff with experience of the learning outcomes approach.
